VFX for Elemental Lord and Pirates

Here is some of the VFX for the Elemental Lord and pirates, mainly the Swabbie. Accompanying the low poly design we strive to achieve, most of the VFX will use primitive shapes like cubes and spheres instead of complex, detailed sprites and models.

The showcase below shows the simple VFX for pirates such as impact from their weapon or tool when chopping or mining, as well as some blood effect when they get damages and a muzzle flash from their pistol. For the swabbie, there is a simple buff VFX for its active ability, "Jack of all trades".

This second video showcases the impact from abilities from the Elemental Lord. This includes some VFX for the elemental lord's summon, the morphlings, showing how the minions will die or create an explosion when they combine. Thereafter, there are the other VFX such as impact from the lightning bolt, ground slam and the gust ability.
